A Message from Maura Jo, Connecticut-based EBB Instructor

I started teaching childbirth education in 2007 and have taught a number of programs both independently and in the hospital setting at three different hospitals. This format is an opportunity to learn a good amount of content without getting overwhelmed by trying to cram it all in in one day! Add a Center Song Hypnobirthing Program and you have an excellent palate of skills for your big day and the confidence to apply them for maximum benefit!

My goal is to join you on your journey and to empower you to *yourself* for birth and early parenthood (and make learning fun). I look forward to guiding you through practicing techniques that help you prepare for parenthood.

Will I Learn how to have a Natural (Physiologic) Birth?

This program will give you skills and tools to use for whatever type of birth you are preparing for. Center Song teaches the judicious use of technologies and interventions and informed decision-making so you can make the right calls for yourself. Center Song programs are a great fit for those who wish to know techniques that support physiologic, non-drug births and we do discuss the reasons why these techniques are evidence-based (they have no side effects and can be used by anyone, even if someone does also chose to use medications).
